Welcome to the first stage in developing your personalized roadmap for an unconventional life.

When men experience incongruence in their lives, it’s often difficult to pinpoint what’s causing the discontent. Often, it arises from not living an authentic life. Our current culture is a breeding ground for inauthenticity – when someone asks us a simple question, we are conditioned to respond with what they expect to hear, instead of the truth. It’s not surprising that this leads to feelings of discontent!

It takes true courage to step out of this discord because exploring the unknown evokes fear, doubt, and uncertainty about what we might find on the other side.

The exploration stage cultivates the skills that allow individuals to explore their concerns and immerse themselves in their experience from an objective perspective, rather than a subjective one. It allows you to honestly answer the question: what’s really going on? This is the first step toward success and leads to the development of awareness, which creates a pathway for insight and action.

We are all unique and there is
no one-size-fits-all method.

This roadmap is different for everyone – we are all unique and there is no one-size-fits-all method. It’s perfectly normal to experience some discomfort, reluctance, rebellion, resignation, and rationalization in the beginning.

There is simply not enough support and awareness of the issues surrounding men’s emotional and relational wellbeing. How men cope with the stresses of marriage, fatherhood, life-transitions, aging parents, and loss are greatly understudied.

I extend an invitation to you to take a courageous step forward in seeking honest change for yourself. Overcoming the challenges that are currently keeping you from living the life you’ve envisioned requires an intentional effort.

It is never too late for change. When we are living authentically and unconventionally, we have peace within ourselves, in our relationships, and in the world we live in.
